Established in 1974 MIKES BIKE SHOP has carried SPECIALIZED Road and Mountain Bikes for over 30 years. In the U.S.A.and world wide SPECIALIZED bicycles and equipment are considered to have the most innovative designs and are known for excellent quality and customer service.

15 years ago we added ELECTRA Bikes in a colorful assortment of well made Beach Cruisers and City Bikes. These bikes are just fun to ride and can survive actual beach use. Their trend setting TOWNIE bikes are the most popular comfort bike in the U.S.A. today.

ALL BIKE PURCHASES have to be picked up at our CANNON BEACH location (excuse to come to the most scenic beach on the Oregon Coast) We do accept DEPOSITS over the phone to hold bikes listed on this site. Manufacturers ELECTRA and SPECIALIZED do not allow us to ship bikes to you because of liability concerns. We can ship parts, accessories and clothing to you. NO INTERNET SALES on complete bicycles.

Because of some areas with minimal shoulders and high speed motor vehicle traffic on State Highways 6, 26 and 30 between Portland and the North Coast we recommend that cyclists avoid these highways and take PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO THE NW OREGON COAST:

To connect to CANNON BEACH from the Portland International Airport (PDX) take the light rail connection (MAX) to the Portland City Center. Walk or take a city bus 5 blocks North to the AMTRAK Railroad Station "Secure storage available at the station."  The NW Bus departs at 9:30 AM and at 6 PM from the station and arrives in Cannon Beach at 11:15 AM and 8 PM (plus or minus 15 min) and continues on to Seaside, Warrenton and Astoria. On-board Wifi available. Discounts for Senior Citizens, bicycles carried for an additional charge.

To Return to PORTLAND from Cannon Beach

Tickets are available at the CB Beach Store 1088 S. Hemlock 503-436-0475 or at Theresa's Family Market 1170 S. Hemlock 503-436-0515, NW Point Bus leaves at 8:45 AM and 7:45 PM daily and arrives at the AMTRAK Railroad Station at 10:45 AM and 9:45 PM (plus or minus 15 min). Connect to PDX via MAX.
