The TOWNIE from ELECTRA is unique in the cycling industry ,the frame features a bottom bracket located 6 inches in front of the seat tube allowing the rider to adopt a flat footed position while stopped or starting and allowing for full leg extension while riding. This is classified as a semi recumbent design. If you or your significant other have difficulty with other bicycles, the TOWNIE will be the answer.
